For years I frequented design houses, textile marts, fashion openings and traveled the globe searching for the fabric, color & look that describes my outlook in fashion design. After attending a few ethnic design houses - I saw the same favorite patterns over & over, but not the colors or prints that I wished to offer, in the sizes my collectors were requesting. So, I teamed up with a friend who has an MBA in business & over over 25 years in the garment manufacturing industry. Together we have the necessary skills to produce our extensive Bali Batik line of couture-stylin women's fashions!

As a fashion designer ( I used to lay on fabric & cut it around my body!) I know the texture, drape & tensile elasticity of fabric, and as a painter I know the value of color, hue & intensity and how color can empower, enliven, cool, warm, calm or refresh us. Combining this with almost 20 years of teaching women's spirituality & personal growth--hearing up close & personal, how many of us view our bodies, I know women are ready for conscious heart-centered approach to wearing clothes in styles they feel comfortable & stylish in.

BALI BATIKS are known throughout the world as some of the finest artisans of textile painting. Working with these talented crafts-folk we bring pure clear colors & beautiful dynamic batiks, in ethnic styles of our up-dated & resized "old favorites" & new contemporary styles in sizes that fit small to plus size women's figures. What is the Dairi Moroccan Cotton Sousdi Collection? About 35+ years ago a woman named Laise Adzer started an international sensation with her Moroccan high-fashion couture clothing designs. If your old enough, you will remember it was all the rage! This amazing & elegant collection has stayed in the family. The DAIRI collection has over 150 unique, exotic & romantic women's garments. Women LOVE to Dress UP! I love dress-ups. Since I was a wee-kidlet, I loved getting into costumes, even if it was just a sheer window curtain...I was a Princess! ... and of course I talked all my girlfriends into playing as well. Most of the time my first words were "let's pretend!" Of course, I fell in love with designing & sewing my own clothes. I used to lay on fabric & cut it around my body! Poring over issues of W.W.D. (Women's Wear Daily), I understood early on, that clothes do an awful lot of talkin! I studied fine arts, photography, commercial art & fashion design, later adding psychology & communications. ANd have had a thumb in two pies; teaching creative arts in private practice & community arts projects. Also, I have taught women's personal growth & spirituality for over 15 years. Years of sacred theatre, shamanic training & costume design for local theatre, make-up, and performances as well as creating & costuming for my line of MythMakers© Art & Spirit Dolls, et al has given me knowledge of the Body, artful design construction, fall of fabric, colors & textures to create moods of health, healing, laughter, sexiness, and honest to goodness self-esteem. Wearing the right clothes can help heal body image issues-whether we're size 6 or a plus size bodacious gal. A few years ago, when I got my new camera I asked some friends to come over & play dress-ups so I could shoot. Oh my, What a hoot! They got into my costume boxes and you can see the photos on the right-they transformed into Goddesses! These are teachers, singers & folks who work in schools. Just look what clothes, color, light, love & a good eye can do! Selling women's clothes is a natural extension of my love of fashion & supporting women to look & feel their best from the inside out!
