This incredible ONE OF A KIND Tribal fully embroidered in soft green & violet, embellished with coin amulets, from the Kuchi of Pashtunistan. This belt is perfect for ethnic women's clothing, costumes, Wicca and Goddess wear. It is the definitive Belly-Dance, Tribal Dance wear, or headress. This was created in country of origin. Kuchi belts are made with beads, cowries, coin silver, and Brass, Natural gemstones. Authentic Tribal artifacts from Central Asia. These belts are all authentic made by tribal nomads. I purchase them from a friend of Asian heritage. He told me these belts are unique, some are old, have been worn in ceremoney. Some belts have attached cords and backing, see the photo details. There may be evidence of wear, but this is authentic and not mass produced. Depending on how you are going to use this: on a costume, as a belt, for belly-dancing, as a wall hanging or over a door denoting "sacred space" you can modify, add onto it by hand-sewing. The Kuchi people are a tribe of Sunni Nomads living in Asia. "Kuchi" is a Baluchistan word meaning "nomadic" or "wandering". They dwell in southeastern Afghanistan to the border of Pakistan. The Kuchi are of the Pashtun tribe of Afghanistan, wandering nomads they move their herds from summer grazing in Afghanistan, to winter pastures in Pakistan.
