The side slits show off your pants or skirt, while covering up bottom and hips, and let's face it we all have el-Fannon days don't we? * Trapunto stitching (Italian for "to embroider"), also called stuffed technique, is a quilting technique that is quite decorative in that it utilizes at least two layers, which is padded from the underside. This produces a raised surface on the fabric. This style originated in Italy in fourteenth or the sixteenth century. Topstitching enhances a fabric's design and strengthens seams. Every stitch must be accurately done by a machine or by hand.
