This lovely double-layer Cut-on-the-Bias! (what we did before spandex!) dress; one layer shorter with fringe over full length layer. A bias-cut dress will give more stretch and goes back to it's original form because of the tensile memory of the fabric.
DESIGN DETAILS: Scoop V-neckline with re-enforced trapunto stitched back plaquette, long raglan inset sleeves, two separate bias-cut layers... the top layer shorter & trimmed with hand-knotted fringe.
TRANSFORMATIONS! To transform your dress you can pick up one side & discover the long French seamed slit, with a the hidden button underneath, and button it up with the sturdy small loop at the shoulder. In the same way you can button both shoulders for sleeves, or you can take one end and drape it around into the side slit on the top layer for a gypsy look - see photo below oh! & Pockets too!
