Bias cut (the dress is cut on the diagonal of the fabric for extra stretch [uses more yardage] what we did before spandex). A bias-cut dress will give more stretch and goes back to it's original form because of the tensile memory of the fabric. Dress is generously cut so it fits slender to plus size gals.
