This collection features geometric, baroque prints with a Moroccan flavor in a soft, ruby shade combined with black. The fabric is a subtly textured rayon that’s wrinkle-resistant and has a lovely, silky drape and flow.
This is a delicious collection for autumn. Very artsy, with a touch of far east mystery and spice, a subdued sophistication and a classic boho flair. This is fashion that’s practical. But simply beautiful.
The shirt has a flattering scoop neckline, a loosely fitted bodice, long sleeves with a little tuck at the top that gives them a very subtle ‘cap,’ an easy-to-wear raised waistline, handy side seam pockets (Yippee!) and a swingy ‘skirt’ that’s purely glorious, with a pixie hemline that converges to double points in both front and back. Done up in a duo of textured rayon batiks from the ‘diamonds & ruby’ collection that have a soft, silky feel and a luxurious drape and flow. The batik pattern on the front bodice has been beaded for emphasis and the effect is exquisite.
